  • As you know at the end of Subnautica we have to pay Alttera 1 Trilion credits for all materials etc....  But in game we are not playing as some "Aurora passanger" we are playing as experienced helm-person (dialog when you building cyclops: Be advised: the Cyclops is designed to be operated by a three-person crew. Only experienced helms-people should attempt to pilot this vehicle solo.)

My question is: Is 1 trilion credits that much, when we can have on our bank acc more then 1 trilion credits?

    FoXay.

I mean yes is lot of credits :D But my question was: Is that much for person as we are playing? Like we can have on our bank account more than 1 trilion credits...

      Question is Who we are...

    • I would imagine Ryley doesn't make that much money from being a Non-Essential Systems Maintenance Chief. So one trillion credits would still be a lot.

    • Well we know from data downloads that the  Aurora's mission was to construct a phasegate (most likely a sort of interstellar highway to provide access to a new area of space) and that project cost several trillion credits to bankroll. We also know that 100-200 credits is enough to buy a ticket to go on a months-long voyage through space. So I'd say the 1 trillion credits is virtually impossible for a normal person to pay back. Hopefully the local government realizes this and allows Ryley to land, otherwise he's kinda screwed.

Maybe Alterra will "pay" for the informations about planet 4546B and what happend to Aurora, Precursors, Carar, Degasi... Then Ryley wouldn't pay 1 Trilion credits?

    • Lol well we don't really need to worry about it. It is more than likely just meant to be a sly joke before the credits roll. Alterra is kind of a half-parody corporation that sees profits and good morals as equally valuable so getting an outrageous bill from them is in fitting with that theme.

That does not make him an experienced helmsman.

If a single Diamond is worth three million credits, one trillion is unlikely to be cheap.
