Kyanite is a raw material that appears as an angular blue gemstone, clustered together in a large crystalline formation. It can only be found as a large resource deposit in the Inactive Lava Zone and more sparingly in the Active Lava Zone, making it difficult to mine. It is also one of the few scannable materials.

- There were once single pieces of Kyanite that could be found in deep Biomes, like the Blood Kelp Zone and the Dunes as of the Precursor Update. These were removed in the Castles & Coffee Update.
