The Gel Sack is a non-hazardous, rare, edible type of life form belonging to the flora category.

It can usually be found attached to the walls of caves. It can be either picked up or harvested for Gel Sack Spores by using a Knife. Both items can then be planted in an Exterior Growbed.

The easiest place to find Gel Sacks is inside of a narrow trench (446, -29, -132) in the Safe Shallows, near the small wreck closest to the Aurora. They can also be found abundantly in the Lost River and Deep Grand Reef. A few Gel Sacks  can also be found around the roots and on the trunk of the Giant Tree Mushroom in the Northwestern Mushroom Forest.

Appearance

The Gel Sack is hemispheric in shape and has a black surface covered with thick, twisted ridges. Randomly scattered across its surface are protruding, bioluminescent pink spots.
